Since the last release of Obox Mobile we haven't stopped making the plugin even better.

Marc has been busy working on some key little features, improving load times and adding a brand new theme.

One huge update is the ability to create a mobile specific menu with a custom name/title. We have also gone to great lengths to make sure sub navigation works.

Marc has been incredibly busy over the last month working on a complete re-write and feature upgrade of Obox Mobile.

The first iteration of the WordPress Mobile Plugin was all about getting the basics right but we felt it was high time we made a comprehensive upgrade.

The aim of the new version is focussed around features. We want to give you more control over how your posts and pages display as well as how you control your advertising.

Obox Mobile version 1.5 is a massive leap forward, have a look at some of the new features after the jump.

With three days to go before our Obox Mobile competition closes we thought we would just give you a heads on the awesome prize that you can win.

We decided to relax the rules slightly with regards to entering. Previously you were required to tweet a particular link but it has become difficult to track so we decided to scrap that part.

So this means that ANYONE who purchases the Obox Mobile Framework will be automatically entered into the competition!

And what is the prize again? Well in-case you need reminding... a 16gb iPhone 4! I know, the awesome is just out of hand.

A few hours after launching Obox Mobile, Liam McKay, co-creator of WPBundle and designer of our awesome Antiquity theme, jumped onto Gtalk to chat about the new Framework.

As we got deeper into discussion we realized there was huge potential to create something awesome for future WPBundle users.

Someone visits your site via their mobile phone. The whole page tries to fit on the tiny screen, the fonts are beyond small and clicking on a link involves fingers the size of an ant's leg.

Far from ideal.

And then Obox Mobile steps in. Obox Mobile is a Mobile Framework that will seamlessly convert your WordPress site into a mobile friendly experience when people visit it via their phones.

With a 'planned' launch next week (you never know) of our WordPress mobile plugin we have decided to wet your appetite a bit with some tiny tit bits of info.

First off, it will be called Obox Mobile. It will be able to stand alone as well as integrate into OCMX, so it will work with any WP blog even if you don't have an Obox Theme.

It will be launched with more than one design style, one of which is coming from a source outside of Obox. I think you will be quite surprised when you see who.

Obox Mobile has been designed to plug 'n play but despite that there will be some nifty little features that you can play around with in the settings.
