'From the Couch' is an Online Video show, hosted by brothers Marc and David Perel, which covers everything web orientated. We show you CSS tips, how to create websites from nothing and also chat about news in the web world. Don't miss our daily shows right here!

We started a web company 5 years ago and have never looked back since, we have followed the top bloggers around and have learnt a great deal in application development and web design.

Towards the end of 2008 we decided to start a blog to share our thoughts and knowledge of the web. Two months later, while working on a Sunday afternoon we had an epiphany... Why not create an online Web TV Show?

The result is what you see here, From the Couch.

So, what will you see on From the Couch?

  • Interviews
  • Site Reviews
  • Theme Reviews
  • News about OBOX
  • Tutorials
  • The reality of running a small web company

What makes us unique? Well for a start, what you see is never scripted. From the Couch is quite literally an impulsive show, this keeps it natural and funny to watch. Secondly, we tend to go against the grain. Marc programs in Coldfusion, I use Fireworks to design and we both think that 'Freeism' is incredibly flawed.

So strap yourself in and enjoy the ride, all of our shows will have our maximum effort and we hope that you come around again!

This is the perfect opportunity to market your site by using From the Couch as a launch pad into the web space.

Episode 190 - Develop without an Ego

In this Episode David and Marc advise designers and developers to put their ego aside when presenting work to their clients and/or colleagues. While being confident in your ability is a good thing, thinking that your solution is the only option is most likely to lead to disappointment. They also return to the "Community Journalism" topic, something they're still quite sceptical about.

Interesting I was just talking about this with some colleagues - just see criticism as real feedback...
