We have decided to code name our new site "NewBox".
Since I have been posting previews on Dribbble, which is invite only, I thought its time I share some of the previews with you.
Progress of the site so far has resulted in me starting the CSS and HTML, all the ground is being set now.
Creating a small style sheet is quite a challenge with a site of this size but we are making sure that we have reusable and dynamic layouts. Luckily we have quite a bit of experience with creating large websites and are well versed in this department.
A Graph
The majority of the pages have been styled and the theme of the site is now set. The home page is not like the others you see, I have tried my best to go for a slightly unconventional layout without alienating the visitors. A key feature to the new home page is a graph which explains why:
A Blog
Another main feature for our new site is integrating our blog into the design. We plan on also including all new From the Couch episodes and of course more guest blog posts. The blog needs to fit in with the new design but also needs a little life of its own. Here is a screenshot of the comments section:

And that is all for now peeps. There will be more to come over the coming weeks though. We plan on launching the new site sometime in March depending on our work load. This site will not be rushed (like the current one… but that was part of the plan).
