Gigawatt's proven to be a monster in terms of sales and usage.
It was also the first theme that Peter Lehto, our lead dev, developed when he joined Obox. With it being a year since Gigawatt went live we've been busy giving it an overhaul.
The first thing we did was take a look at the code and work on stripping out anything old and unused in modern Obox Themes.
The CSS and all the color styles have been redone to be smaller and more generic for easier editing.
This bad boy is now responsive
The biggest change of all is that Gigawatt is now completely responsive. Seeing it on a mobile device is special, the textured background and whitespace is something to behold, Paravel really did an amazing job designing this theme.
We've also relooked at the vertical spacing of elements to make sure that they're consistent with different content types and devices and done a MASSIVE clean up of the portfolio section.
This Wednesday, eCommerce compatibility
Along with the coding overhaul we have also worked on implementing WooCommerce into this awesome video theme.
We expect to launch the eCommerce early next week. As always it will feature all the awesome packed in WooCommerce and it too will be responsive.
