Gigawatt is a video blogging theme designed by the ever so talented team of Trent Walton and Reagan Ray from Paravel.
As with any of our themes the brief was simple, design to your strengths but make sure that it's as usable as can be. The end result is a gorgeous, vintage looking WordPress Video theme which manages to balance a grunge look with a minimal and flexible layout.
I just wanted to mention that working with Trent was awesome. Super responsive, professional and humble. I couldn't have wished for a better experience working with a designer(s)!
Highlights of this theme include the portfolio section and the large, video focused post page with a detailed meta section in the sidebar.
Whether you use Vimeo, YouTube, Viddler or Blip, we cater for them all as Gigawatt can display videos from any 3rd party video hosting site! What's even better than that is that if you want to use this theme to display photos instead of videos you can do that too, use up to 6 different filters when uploading your pics to make sure they are consistent across the site.

- oEmbed Support - Simply cut & paste the url of your video and we will get the embed code for you!
- HD and SD video selectors - Give your HD videos the space and attention they deserve with a massive 940px wide view port.
- Works as a Standard Blog too - If you want to use this as a normal blog with images instead of videos, it is 100% possible. We have made sure to include our standard image uploader with auto-resizing and filters.
- One dark and two light Color Schemes - Gigawatt is packed with three great color schemes including two light versions and a dark one, all with an awesome subtle grunge texture designed by Paravel.
