We're extremely happy and proud to launch Picks, the theme for all types of Photographers, co-designed with the guys from Whitespace. We strive to be the best in our field and when we set out to create Picks in a category as competitive as photography there were two choices. Either follow the status quo and offer the same as everyone else or listen to the needs and wants of those who will be using it and create something truly unique.

Built for all kinds of photographers
The biggest challenge was creating a theme which could suit all types of photographers but without requiring complicated settings to get your desired look.
Picks is smart enough to know if you're posting professional shots, panoramics or instagram photos. It will detect the EXIF data and serve different information for each shot. What's great is that the layout of Album pages and list pages are flexibile enough that all content types look great.
Albums
Upload your photos and, with the ability of the album categories, structure your collections quickly and easily. Your website visitors will be able to leave comments on whole albums and single photos.
Post Instagrams with Easygram
If you're an instagrammer then we've got you covered. Create amazing blog posts and albums with Picks and the Easygram plugin. Easygram will auto-import your instagram photos and you will be able to select multiple photos at a time for easy inclusion in posts.

Share Individual Photos
Since each photo you upload is an attachment, we went the extra mile and made sure that the attachment page was top draw.
Each photo has a unique short URL which you can share and comment on. The design is also responsive and attachments link to related photos from the Album in which they're situated.
Great site wide features
Picks is packed with three flexible homepage options which help you setup the exact look you want for the front page of your site. They include a full width grid layout, the classic Big Picture look or feature up to 5 thumbnails per post in a smart grid format. Finally, as a bonus, we've included a standard blog home page too!
Infinite Scroll
Using the full width layout, we've implemented an infinite scroll so that your photos will load up as your visitors scroll up and down on your homepage.
Mobile Friendly
By using a mobile-friendly theme you know that any visitor to your website will be having the best experience no matter what device they're using. Picks looks great on any modern phone or tablet, it doesn't need extra mobile-plugins and works from the moment you activate your theme.
Color Options
We've incorporated two color options to choose from within Picks when you install the theme. Both Light and Dark options are instantly available for you to use.
Customization
If the two color options aren't enough, following on from our recent theme releases and updates, Picks makes full use of the new customization API implemented in the latest version of WordPress.
You'll now be able to update the look of your theme through a visual preview window. This makes image and color selection 100 times quicker and easier to do. Then, once you're happy, simply click save and you're good to go.
