About 3 weeks ago I went up to Johannesburg. There was no particular reason except to see the Cerebra (offices look like this) and JHB in general (haven't properly been there in yeeeaaars).
When I went up I never took my laptop. Just a pencil and a tiny little drawing book.
While chilling at the Cerebra offices I came up with the blurry image in my head and decided to put my blunt pencil to use.
The result is our next theme scheduled for a mid-March launch.
It will be along the lines of what Press currently is, IE a blog/portfolio/gallery theme.
We have yet to come up with a name for this new theme which is highly unusual at Obox. Generally we come up with a name and design a theme around that. This is probably the first time I have designed a theme without a name.
Hopefully when it comes to launch time it will have a reference :P

Definitely looking forward to the release..and sometimes design has a way of making its own mind about how things will be done, Im sure itll be great..
so far so good!
how about "drop in the bucket" for a name?
.mike
looking forward to it
I love it. The author info is killer - never seen anything like it.
My favorite part though is the quote used for the featured posts. I know a few people like that, and it rubs me the wrong way to hear them constantly complaining :)
But yeah, this is a really nice design. Keep up the awesome work.
@Mike - That quotes comes from here http://blog.obox-design.com/view_item.cfm/title/look_up_and_speak_up
Sweet looking design, i really really like the author info, that is killer
Well, since you came up with the idea for this theme while visiting the Cerebra folks, why not give them a subtle shout out by calling it "Cerebreau."
@tedgrafx

I love the author bio area too! The preview looks beautiful.
Im the same way. I get stuck on my ideas until I come with things like a place to have the event or a name to call a company. Its seems low priority, but those details can really define a path.
Name suggestions: 1. Blurred Focus 2. Zest 3. Droplet 4. Chaotic
