With 95% of the CSS + HTML done for the New Obox website we have decided it is time to set a date for launch.
Marc and I thrive off deadlines and tend to actually get things done if we set them and then commit to them.
So, right here right now we are saying that the launch of the brand spanking new Obox website will be the 6th of April 2010.
From here on in its a case of transfering our Coldfusion code from the current site into the new look. From there a little bit of testing (1 week of so) will be required and then we are all good to go.
Expect more regular updates from here on in as well as some more sneak peaks as we get closer to launch day.
Ciao.

And after that, we expect to see some more Templates from you guys. You are talented on what you do, so please share with us some more themes! :)
Thanks dude, we will be releasing a few themes over the next two months.
I will post an update later in the week ;)
Hey guys, you should have made some episode about the progress and development/design of the new site. Would be great to have those on From the couche
Go Go Go :)
Looking forward to seeing what you have created!
Stijn, From the Couch is taking a sabatical at the moment. We cant come up with content that is worth sharing and dont want to force it.
David, no problem mate! Youre right when you guys dont want to force content. Better to have quality than quantitty, just like your themes!
Are you guys sticking with ColdFusion for the new site? Its a little weird seeing it still in use is all...
@Luc - Sure we are, we love using Coldfusion, its one of the rare opportunities we get to use it.
In our opinion theres nothing wrong with the language, unless you consider super clean code and quick turn around times as a flaw :P
@Luc - there is NOTHING wrong with Coldfusion ;)
Awesome! Cant wait for the new site.
BTW, I definitely would love to learn ColdFusion, just never had the chance to dive into it.
Hey guys, I remember that once David said the new site will be brighter... the "Obox Newsletter" has any relation with the new site? Or is it something "in the middle"?
Waiting for the April 6 :)
Saludos
R.
@Ricardo - That newsletter is a biiiig clue as to what the site will look like ;)
@Design Informer:
CF is so easy and quickly to learn. I wrote a blog in (i dont lie) 9 minutes. If I wouldnt be soooo much in love with PHP i would use CF for every app.
